Pitigliano

With ancient origins, the town preserves significant historical evidence from every era. Its rich cultural heritage and traditions, combined with its untouched and picturesque environment, make Pitigliano a true gem of the hilly Maremma region.

To be seen :

  • Pitigliano itself, with its historic center, where houses rise on a tuff spur, stretches between two valleys and suddenly appears to the visitor in an extraordinarily spectacular way. It is undoubtedly the most important monument in the area. Don’t miss the nighttime view from the panoramic point in front of the Sanctuary “Madonna delle Grazie”; the ancient village enhanced by skillful lighting becomes particularly charming at night.
